Well it’s been a long road getting here, but for the first time this year, here on Treflach Farm this morning it really felt like spring was about to, well, spring.
Then it goes and snows again. Déjà vu.
I don’t get it, it’s like we are being punished for living in caravans (the big mobile homes, rather than the touring ones; we’re not Margaret Beckett you know!). Oh well, time for another layer of jumpers!
But never mind, the pigs are snug in the straw, the cows are well fed and the sheep have just been sorted into pregnant with one, two or three lambs and barren (not pregnant). So they are happy.
I guess we’d all better baton down the hatches and have another pork pie. And with that in mind please do take a look at our pricelist and order form!

Honey Monster!

As a very special offer this week, and to celebrate the arrival of Shropshire honey to the Treflach Farm selection, we’d like to give each one of you lovely people a jar of this rather fine sugary goodness. All you have to do is place an order this week over the £35 threshold (which also entitles you to FREE delivery) for a jar completely gratis!
Gutter press?
To keep the drains flowing and the sheds waterproof this last week saw us cleaning out the gutters. A little bit of a mucky job, but the view from the bucket of the JCB was great. I could see the pub from up there…

School Project
At the same time as running the forest school here at the farm we have also been working toward putting in a classroom facility for other educational uses. We decided on turning a redundant granary into a flexible learning space, and after several months the local authority has given us the go ahead to replace the old doors and windows… Below you can see the original tongue and groove doors looking a little worse for wear. Tune in next time when we hope to have pics of the new doors!

That's it for this week...
But don't forget order any Monday by midday for delivery the following Friday. Oh and also...
